Pain

On the hypothesis that water retains a memory of substances that were previously dissolved in it.

Memory as Connection

The string room is a place where Eurydice remembers and connects with her Father.

Orpheus ties a string around Eurydice's finger to simulate a wedding ring and as a reminder of their love.

Eurydice's umbrella keeps her from forgetting when she arrives in the elevator.

Her Father is able to remember his childhood and Eurydice's youth, sharing those memories with her.

Memory, Scientifically Speaking

Understanding how it is possible to forget things that are such integral parts of our daily practices and upbringings.
